Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal.

Q: How will the charge appear on my credit card statement?
A: All product purchases made will appear as Bikes4families.com on your credit card.

Q: When is my credit card charged?
A: Orders that are placed on the web or by phone are immediately charged to your credit card when the order is processed.

Q: Can I order by telephone?
A: Yes, just call (732) 667-3936 between 10am & 5pm EASTERN STANDARD TIME Monday thru Friday & we will be glad to help you.

Q: What shipper do you use?
A: We use FedEx Ground & UPS Ground (with Signature Required) as our shipping carriers.

Q: Do you offer 2nd day or Next Day service?
A: We currently do not offer expedited shipping

Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii or outside of the United States?
A: For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii please contact our Customer Service Department for a freight quote. We do not ship to APO, FPO, P.O. BOX or International Addresses at this time. Free shipping only applies to the lower 48 States

Q: Do you charge shipping?
A: We offer free shipping to the lower 48 states. The price you see is the price you will pay.

Q: Is your site secure?
A: Yes, your credit card information is encrypted with the highest level of security. Also, we only ship to confirmed and verified physical addresses.

Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: We collect 6% sales tax on purchases shipped to NJ. We do not charge sales tax for purchases shipping outside of NJ.

Q: Will my shipment be insured?
A: Yes, all orders are automatically insured.

Q: What are your shipping policies?

Q: Will I receive a receipt and order confirmation upon completion of my order?
A: Yes, an order confirmation/receipt will be e-mailed to you following the completion of your order. If you do not receive a conformation e-mail please contact us for further assistance.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: You will receive an e-mail acknowledging your order. You will also receive an e-mail after your order ships with tracking information. Please contact customer service for any other questions you may have regarding your order.

Q: Does my bike ship assembled?
A: Most bikes ship about 85% assembled. If you are not comfortable completing the assembly, we recommend taking the bike to a local bike shop to complete the assembly at your expense. See the Bicycle Assembly section for more detailed information.

Q: What if I just don't like the bike for some reason, can I exchange it?
A: Sure thing, see the Shipping and Returns page for detailed information.

Q: Are manufacturers defects covered and what type of warranty is offered on your bikes?
A: Please reference the owner's manual for manufacturer's warranty information. Manufacturer's defects and warranties are handled directly with the manufacturer. Please retain proof of purchase (e-mail order conformation). As always, we are here to help you. Please call us if you're experiencing problems having your warranty issues resolved.

Non-warranty Items:

  • Any adjustments to brakes or gears.
  • Normal wear and tear to bike, tires or components.
  • Any alteration made or aftermarket part installed on bike by customer.
  • Damage from an accident.
  • Damage due to original shipping or transport. Please see shipping policies.
  • Minor scratches are not deemed damage and not covered by the warranty.


Q: Are the bicycle pictures & descriptions current?
A: There are occasions when the manufacturer changes colors or features of their products. We attempt to keep pictures and descriptions of products as current as possible.
