Order Processing and Shipping Times

Most products ship within 48 hours (business days only) of receiving the order. Please allow between 2-10 business days from date of purchase for your bike/accessories to arrive. Shipments are delivered via FedEx Ground & UPS Ground.

Shipping Information

We ship to the continental United States (48 states) only. We do not ship to APO, FPO, P.O. BOX or International at this time. For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii please contact our Customer Service Department for a freight quote (Yes, it’s expensive to ship there). We do not offer expedited shipping.

Damaged Merchandise

Occasionally, a bicycle may be damaged in shipment. Rest assured we will make every effort to fix the problem promptly and to your satisfaction.
Once an order leaves the warehouse, it is the sole responsibility of the carrier to deliver the product to the destination, undamaged. Insurance coverage entitles the customer to receive up to 100% merchandise replacement - up to the amount of the insurance coverage.
In event that you receive an item with apparent damage to the packaging and you feel that the integrity of the item has been compromised we ask that you refuse the item and notify us immediately via e-mail (sales@bikes4families.com). Please state the reason for refusal as "damaged in shipping". We will then begin the process of filing a claim against the carrier and get you a replacement bike RIGHT AWAY. In most cases our Customer Service Department will handle all of these claims but you may be asked to help us document the claim.
Please contact us immediately if you notice any damage after you have signed for your item.

Delivery Refusal Policy

If you refuse delivery of an order arriving within the delivery grace period (3 days of the expected delivery date) your account will be credited once the item is returned to the warehouse less shipping charges to and from your delivery address.

Exchange and Return Policy

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase but we understand that sometimes the only way to make you a truly satisfied customer is by exchanging your product or issuing a refund.

Exchange:

If you find that you need to exchange your bike for a different color, size, etc., you will have 10 days from the date of delivery to contact us. Additional freight charges are handled on a case by case basis but we do our best to make your additional out of pocket expenses kept as low as possible. We do not accept exchanges after 10 days from the date of delivery.

Return and Refund:

In the event that you are not completely satisfied, we provide a 10 day 'no questions asked' return policy. If you would like to request a refund, please let us know within 10 days of delivery and we will refund your purchase price minus any return shipping fees. We do not accept returns after 10 days from the date of delivery.
For all exchanges and returns you must pack and return the bike in its original packaging, to the best of your ability. So, please don't throw out the box and packaging until you're sure.
Please notify us of any errors with your order as soon as possible.
